Hi there I am Ross Beech I am 25 and live in Princetown Devon.
I picked my first camera up in 2015 and haven’t looked back since!
I went out to try my Dads Sony Nex 5 out. We ventured out onto moors looking over Princetown to shoot some long exposures of cars travelling on the road to Princetown.
I was hooked from the moment I let go of the shutter button!
I went on from there to purchase my first camera which was a Sony Nex 5 with an 18-35mm kit lens. Having purchased my camera I didn’t really nowhere to start. I was photographing anything that moved!
Quickly learning I that really enjoyed taking photos of Dartmoor’s natural beauty and playing with exposure times to see what I could create. I then discovered Macro photography on the days I couldn’t travel, by photographing flowers in my garden. I have since then upgraded my camera twice. First to a Sony A6000 which I took to the Isle of Man TT and tried shooting motorbikes using the panning method which worked well. I really enjoyed the buzz of catching a motorbike doing 120+ on camera! As there
As there are no motorsports I would like to photograph in my area. I have concentrated on the one thing that got me going on my photographic adventure. The beauty of Dartmoor’s vast ever changing scenery! My latest upgrade is a Nikon D610 with a 16-35mm wide angle lens.
